About the Production Ready Artwork StandardsOne of the most difficult problems facing the promotional products industry is the general lack of standardization of electronic artwork formats and their transfer as production ready artwork. The goal of the Production Ready Artwork Standards Advisory Committee is to create a universal process for the transfer of electronic artwork. CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator are the primary graphics applications used by most professionals in our industry. With that in mind, the Production Ready Artwork Standards Committee has established a set of open standards that users of both CorelDRAW and Illustrator, on Mac or Windows, can use to preview and submit production ready artwork electronically. The Production Ready Artwork Standards Advisory Committee & Production Ready Artwork Standards Advisory Group are made up of artwork savvy industry professionals. We would like to thank Craig Mertens and Jay Busselle, for the original design of the Digital Art Standards which initiated this important project. We would also like to thank the following individuals for their dedication and commitment to expanding those Standards to develop meaningful, practical artwork standards for the advancement of the promotional products industry
